Winter Transfer Deadline Pushed to the Spring

Call it generous or call it haphazard but the Russian Football Union’s executive committee decided on Wednesday to extend the winter transfer window until 8 April.

Initially scheduled to close at midnight on 10 March, after consultation with FIFA officials the RFU unexpectedly made the revision only hours before the deadline.
