Bahodir Nasimov is expected to be a part of the main Rubin squad by the start of the season
Over the weekend Rubin Kazan signed 22-year-old striker Bakhodir Nasimov to a three-year contract.
The young attacker had been on the books of PFK Dinamo Samarkand (Uzbekistan), where he had scored an impressive 22 goals in less than two years of play. He most impressed scouts, however, during the Commonwealth Cup earlier this year, scoring five goals in the competition while on loan for FK Bunyodkor.
Nasimov has been capped for Uzbekistan, scoring in his one appearance for the White Wolves in an Asian Cup match against Malaysia last November.
His transfer fee from Samarkand has been undisclosed.
